About the Artist

A rockandroller mixed with intriguing fragility

South African singer-songwriter produced by Daniel Baron (Beast, Radio Man, forthcoming EP). Her music fuses the introspective heart of singer-songwriter craft with the atmospheric edge of indie-pop and folk-rock — raw, fierce, vulnerable.

Discovered on Instagram by Daniel Baron, Carla has built a growing global audience through a string of singles that move between intimate acoustic moments and full-blooded indie-rock anthems. In 2025 she was awarded a prestigious grant from the SAMRO Music Fund through the SAMRO Foundation, supporting the recording of her debut EP.

Live, she performs both as a solo acoustic act and alongside acclaimed guitarist Rob Watt, equally at home commanding large festival stages and intimate boutique venues.

Independent · unsigned. All masters and publishing self-controlled — available for sync & licensing.

“She channels a bit of Joan and a bit of Janis — Sheryl Crow and Julia Stone. A rockandroller mixed with intriguing fragility. Watch her fly.” Matt Mercer

Her forthcoming EP, produced by Daniel Baron, is inspired by the line “Beastly Creatures at My Feast” — a story of resilience, self-love and transformation forged through years of working through chronic illness. The singles Beast, Forget to Breathe, Feast, What Are We Afraid Of and Radio Man together form the narrative arc leading into the record.
